We only use premium grade OE thread that is specifically engineered for convertible tops. The thread offers exceptional UV and abrasion protection; as well as resistance to mildew.

Hydrophobic Fabric Guard
All Prestige fabric tops are pre coated with an exceptional, high performance hydrophobic fabric guard. The fabric guard helps improve the life span of the fabric by offering excellent water repellency, resistance to mildew, resistance to dirt build up and it also helps to maintain the colour fastness of the fabric.

An improved design on the original top is the use of hot air tape sealing for the roof seams. This is a modern process (original for Porsche and BMW) that provides a precise and water tight seal for the seam; in addition to improving long term durability.
