Who We Are This website is operated by Prestige Autotrim Products Ltd (company number 02148053), Oak Tree Place, Expressway Business Park, Birkenhead, CH42 1NS, England. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy, and we handle it in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
If you have any question about your personal information, or wish to exercise any of the rights set out below, please email

What Information Do We Collect and Why? Website Orders When you place an order on this website, your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, together with the products ordered and the order value, are collected on our secure checkout page. We use this information to process, manufacture, despatch and deliver your order, to send you your order confirmation and tracking link, and to contact you about your order if we need to. We collect this information because it is needed to fulfil our contract with you.
Payment is taken by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. Your card details are entered directly on Stripe's secure payment page and are never seen or stored by Prestige Autotrim. Stripe also collects information such as your billing details, IP address and device details in order to process your payment and prevent fraud. Stripe's use of that information is described in its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Your order details are recorded on our secure checkout server, and a copy of the order is emailed to our sales team so that it can be entered into our internal order system. Your order tracking link uses a long, randomly generated code and shows only the progress of your order; it never shows your name, address or contact details.
Your basket is saved in your own web browser's storage, on your device, so that the items you have added are still there when you return to it. The contents of your basket are not sent to us until you proceed to checkout, and you can clear them at any time by emptying your basket or clearing your browser data.
Customers will only be contacted by the telephone number or email address provided by them and only for reasons pertaining to their order.
Delivery and Import Orders are delivered to Australia by an international courier. We share your name, delivery address, phone number, email address and the contents and value of your order with the courier so that it can deliver your order, send you delivery updates and clear your order through customs. The courier provides these details to the Australian customs authorities, as is required for all imported goods, and collects any import GST that is due. The courier uses this information only for these purposes.
Cookies and Website Analytics When you first visit this website, a cookie banner asks for your consent before any non-essential cookies are used. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use the website, such as which pages are viewed, with IP addresses anonymised. We use this only to review how the website performs and to improve it. If you choose "Reject non-essential", Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie icon at the bottom of each page. A necessary cookie is used to remember your cookie choice.
The "Share this page" buttons are plain links. Nothing is sent to Facebook, X or WhatsApp unless you click one of them, and that service's own privacy policy then applies.
Telephone Orders When a customer places an order with us by telephone; the customer's name, shipping address, billing address, phone number, company name (if applicable), credit card details, how they heard about us and the product details pertaining to the order are collected. This data is collected to allow us to internally process, fulfil and despatch the order. Necessary customer details are shared with our delivery service solely for the purposes of delivering the customer's order and to send tracking details to the customer by email.
Credit card details are used to manually charge a customer for their order. We use PCI compliant third party payment providers for manual charging.
Customers will only be contacted by the telephone number or email address provided by them and only for reasons pertaining to their order.

eBay Orders The link to our privacy policy pertaining to orders placed through our eBay shop can be found in our eBay listings.
Who We Share Your Information With We only share your information with the service providers that help us to take payment, deliver your order and run this website, and only as far as each of them needs it: Stripe (payment processing), our courier (delivery and customs clearance), Microsoft (our email system and the secure cloud server that runs our checkout) and our website hosting provider.
We never sell your information to anyone. We will only disclose it to anyone else where the law requires us to.
International Transfers We are based in the United Kingdom, so information you give us when you place an order is transferred to and held in the UK. Some of our service providers, such as Stripe, Microsoft and Google, may process information in other countries, including the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK-US Data Bridge or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How Long We Keep Your Information We keep order records, including your name, contact details, delivery address and the items ordered, for six years after the end of the financial year in which the order was placed, because UK tax law requires us to keep records of sales for that long. They are then deleted. The copy of your order held on our checkout server, which shows your order's progress on the tracking page, is deleted automatically six months after the order was placed. Correspondence about enquiries that do not lead to an order is deleted once it is no longer needed.
Data Security Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, and your card details never reach our systems. Information you send through this website is encrypted in transit.
Customer information that we collect from an order placed through our website; by telephone; by email or through our eBay shop for the purpose of internal order processing is securely stored; as per our PCI and legal requirements. The information can only be accessed by select members of staff for the purposes of order fulfilment and despatch.
Your Rights Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information (we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it, for example our tax records);
- ask us to restrict, or object to, our use of your information;
- ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere;
- withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time, using the cookie icon at the bottom of each page.
To make a request, please email
sales_au@prestigeautotrim.com. There is no charge, and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so that we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), which regulates how we handle personal information.
Marketing Prestige Autotrim does not use customer order details for direct marketing campaigns and we do not sell or distribute customer order details to third parties for direct marketing campaigns.
